For years, Strategic Claims Solutions was dedicated to providing proof of prior physical impairment (PPI) from initial review through the pre-trial process. Since the deadline for submitting Section 15-8 (d) evidence of PPI passed on July 1, 2010, we have shifted our focus to helping you manage claims efficiently.
We understand the importance of obtaining medical records promptly, and our experienced staff excels in this area. We have developed a nationwide database of providers, allowing us to canvass hospitals, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, urgent care centers, and more. Unlike our competitors, we immediately request records from identified providers as soon as they are confirmed.
Our services free up clients to handle their claims more efficiently. Effective claim management is easier when you have a complete understanding of the injured worker’s accident, occupational disease, and medical history, which also aids in your investigation. Richard Moscarito
President
Richard Moscarito, President and Founder, has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, including roles at Zurich Insurance Company and Royal & Sun Alliance, where he specialized in workers’ compensation. In 2002, he founded Brookside Consultants, Inc., focusing on Independent Medical Examinations for New York Workers’ Compensation and No-Fault claims. In 2005, Richard established Strategic Claims Solutions to assist insurance companies with obtaining 15-8 relief. After the phase-out of 15-8, he developed new business lines to continue supporting insurance companies with their claims handling, leading to the creation of the new Strategic Claims Solutions. Both Brookside Consultants and Strategic Claims Solutions have built a substantial client base across New York and continue to grow, offering personalized services to all their clients.
Kristy DiRaddo
Vice President
Kristy DiRaddo has over 17 years of experience in the insurance industry, collaborating with both large and small carrier partners. She holds a bachelor’s degree in childhood education and a Master’s degree in Literacy, which contribute to her strong analytical and communication skills. Kristy began her career with Brookside Consultants, an IME vendor, where she led numerous successful RFP submissions and Information technology projects, ensuring data integrity and secure handling of PHI. In 2012, Kristy joined Strategic Claims Solutions, where she played a key role in expanding the company’s lines of business following the phase-out of 15-8. Her deep understanding of insurance complexities, HIPAA laws and regulations, and the essential services offered at Strategic Claims Solutions has been instrumental in navigating industry changes and driving growth.
